Teaching Style
I approach my lessons in a fun, growth-oriented way, ensuring students feel good but also motivated to grow and improve their skills. I have experience teaching students of all ages, though I typically work best with students over the age of 7 as my lessons involve thinking abstractly about concepts such as tone, style and rhythm. Methodology
For beginners, I use Suzuki and Essential Elements to develop a mastery of the fundamentals. For intermediate and advanced students, I use a combination of Suzuki and technical books to improve and master skills and technique. I have experience preparing students successfully for music exams such as Certificate of Merit and ABRSM, as well as for school, youth orchestra, and musical auditions.
